Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a healing technique based on the principle that one can channel energy into another living being by means of touch. This touch activates the natural healing process to help restore physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. Reiki helps bring a sense of peace and tranquility through grounding and centering by focusing on the energy centers called Chakras (meaning wheel or circle).
The word Reiki itself is comprised of two Japanese words – Rei and Ki. Rei meaning Universal Life and Ki meaning Energy. Therefore, the most common definition of Reiki is Universal Life Force or Universal Life Energy.
Giving and receiving Reiki increases the flow of this energy throughout the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels of our being. The recipient determines where this energy is directed as the Reiki practitioner is merely the conduit through which this energy flows.
Reiki is not a religion therefore those who practice and/or receive Reiki do not require a certain belief system or dogma. There are no pre-requisites or intense study required as anyone can learn since it is passed on from teacher to student through attunements. These attunements – which are a very powerful spiritual experience – enable the student to channel the life force or energy then share it with others if they choose.

The Reiki course that is offered through Titan’s Touch Canine Massage is structured to channel Reiki to both humans and animals.
The class size is limited to six students for each level.
The investment for of each level is $125 with Level 1 on Saturday, followed by Level 2 on Sunday ($250 for both levels). Students must have Reiki Level 1 training prior to receiving Level 2.
The Master Level weekend investment is $325.
Both Advanced Reiki Training and the Master attunement will be completed during this weekend. Students must have received Reiki Levels 1 and 2 at least 6 months prior to this class.
A $75 non-refundable deposit is required prior to any class.
All classes (Level 1, Level 2 and the Master Class) will include training to offer Reiki to both humans and animals. Students work with each other and also my dogs. If time allows, we will visit a local shelter and work with their animals.
**Should circumstances arise, your deposit can be transferred one time to another class if there is availability.
